Don’t waste your thoughts

On the crazy ones
The misfits
The rebels
The troublemakers
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently

Because they’re not fond of rules
They don’t create revenue
They’ll never amount to anything
They’ll die all alone, embittered and broken

You can mock them, smile at them, deplore them or hurt them
But about the only thing you really should do is ignore them
(just like everybody else does!)

Because they don’t change anything
They don’t push the gross domestic product forward

And while some may see them as artists
We see losers
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
That there should be more to life
Are phony hippie idealists, parasites and communists.

And now get back to work!
